Summertime is Monarch Butterfly Time

Hello, everyone!

How is everyone's summer going?  There's only a month and a half to go until school starts back up again.  It's crazy to think about.  What is your favorite summer activity? Please comment below and let me know!  This is what I've been doing with my summer...

Spreading Love

Hi there, Ms Letty here, stopping in to wish everyone a wonderful Imbolc and start of the month. When we think of February we always think of love, friendships and of course sweets (at least I know I do). Normally I usually make Valentine's with the girls to pass out to their classmates, siblings & parents. This year I have decided to do something a little different. Instead of focusing on the one day (14) to spread love.

This month, I'd like to focus on the loss of a pet.

When I was young, I had a beagle named Pepper that I grew up with. My brother brought her home when I was 2 and we were inseparable until I was a freshman in high school. Pepper was 15 when my mother made the decision that it was time to have to let her go. I understood that she was old and had a lot of medical issues going on, but I thought my mother was so mean and cold to do that to her.

Keeping our dogs safe from the heat

With the beginning of summer right around the corner, it's bound to heat up! The last thing we want is for our beloved furry friends to have any heat related emergencies. Dogs don't have the ability to sweat like we do. They only sweat on places not covered by fur, such as their paw pads and noses. Because of this, they rely on panting to cool their bodies down.
